Visit Michigan City LaPorte would like to present to you the opportunity to donate to the 2017 Great Lakes Grand Prix Silent Auction. All proceeds from this auction will go to LaPorte County Emergency Management/ Homeland Security Volunteers.

The mission of the LaPorte County Emergency Management/Homeland Security is to minimize the impact of catastrophic events on our community. When nature or man-made disaster descends upon LaPorte County, Emergency Management is activated to bring in the proper people to provide emergency services to the community. LaPorte County Emergency Management is constantly training citizens of the community to be prepared to quickly act by providing professional and proper emergency service and safety to the public.

The 2016 Great Lakes Grand Prix brought over 9.6 million dollars into the local economy. Attendees for the three-day event was 143,000.
